Itinerary

Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu

We will pick you up from your hotel at 3:00 AM and head to the Ollantaytambo train station, a 2-hour drive. Here, we will board our train at 5:05 AM, heading to the majestic sanctuary of “Machu Picchu,” a Wonder of the World since 2007. During the journey, you will enjoy the beauty of the inter-Andean valleys and indigenous villages until we reach Machu Picchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes.

From there, we will take buses on a 30-minute ride to the Machu Picchu sanctuary. After completing the entry procedures, we begin a once-in-a-lifetime experience at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our guide will start the tour at the Inca complex, including the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, the Sacred Rock group, the Temple of the Three Windows, the mausoleum, and other attractions of interest. After the guided tour, visitors will have free time to take photos, explore areas of personal interest, or relax.

In Machu Picchu Pueblo, you can stroll through artisan markets, the main square, and other attractions while waiting to board the return train at 2:55 PM or 3:20 PM (Peru Rail Expeditions). Upon arriving at Ollantaytambo, our tourist transport will take you back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 7:00 PM.
