Circuit 1 (Panoramic Circuit)

Panoramic Circuit 1 + Upper Terrace Route:

The basic ticket to get the classic postcard photo of Machu Picchu from the Guardian’s House sector.
This ticket allows visitors to appreciate the archaeological site from a great vantage point: the Guardian’s House viewpoint. From there, constructions such as the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Plaza, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Intihuatana, and more can be seen in the distance. However, this ticket does not allow access to these Inca constructions.
This circuit is completed in a maximum of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Visitors can take the photos they want from this spectacular viewpoint.
Does not include any additional hiking.

Panoramic Circuit 1 + Machu Picchu Mountain

This circuit also allows visitors to take the classic postcard photo of Machu Picchu from the Guardian’s House sector.
From this viewpoint in Machu Picchu, there is a panoramic view of the main Inca constructions: the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Plaza, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Intihuatana, and more. However, this ticket does not allow access to these Inca constructions.
This circuit is completed in a maximum of 1 hour. Visitors can take the photos they want from this spectacular viewpoint. Additionally, this circuit includes access to the Machu Picchu Mountain route, which leads to the highest point of the Inca city (the mountain stands at 3,083 meters above sea level).
The visit time to Machu Picchu Mountain, round trip, is approximately 4 hours.
This circuit to Machu Picchu Mountain is only allowed for visitors over 18 years old.

Panoramic Circuit 1 + Inti Punku

This circuit also allows visitors to take the classic postcard photo of Machu Picchu from the Guardian’s House viewpoint. To reach there, visitors must hike up stone stairs, taking 15 to 30 minutes depending on their physical condition.
From the Guardian’s House viewpoint, there is a panoramic view of the main Inca constructions: the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Plaza, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Intihuatana, and more. However, this ticket does not allow access to these Inca constructions.
This circuit is completed in a maximum of 1 hour. During this time, visitors can take the photos they want from this spectacular viewpoint.
Additionally, visitors can access the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) circuit, which leads to the original entrance to Machu Picchu during the Inca era (located at 3,745 meters above sea level).
This circuit is closed during the low season (October 16 to May 31).
The visit to Inti Punku, round trip, takes approximately 3 hours.
This circuit to Inti Punku is open to visitors of all ages.

Panoramic Circuit 1 + Inca Bridge

This circuit also allows visitors to take the classic postcard photo of Machu Picchu from the Guardian’s House sector. This route through the archaeological site is called ‘Circuit 1’. From this viewpoint in Machu Picchu, there is a panoramic view of the main Inca structures: the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Plaza, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Intihuatana, and more. However, this ticket does not allow access to the urban and religious sector to see these structures up close.
This circuit is completed in a maximum of 2 hours. Visitors can take the photos they want from this spectacular viewpoint.
Additionally, visitors can access the Inca Bridge circuit, which leads to the eastern edge of the Inca city, where the entrance to the Amazon sector is located.
The round trip to the Inca Bridge takes approximately 1 hour.
This circuit is closed during the low season (October 16 to May 31).
This circuit to the Inca Bridge in Machu Picchu is only allowed for visitors over 18 years old.

Classic Full Circuit

This circuit also allows visitors to take the classic postcard photo of Machu Picchu but from a lower platform than the Guardian’s House. This route through the archaeological site is called ‘Circuit 2’.
After taking the best photos, the route continues in the urban and religious sector of Machu Picchu. Visitors will have the opportunity to see: the Temple of the Sun, the Main Temple, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Sacred Rock, the Water Mirrors, the Water Fountains, and the agricultural sector.
This circuit is completed in a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes. It is the most recommended and complete circuit in Machu Picchu.
This ticket does not include any additional hikes to the Machu Picchu mountains.
The circuit is open to visitors of all ages.

Classic Circuit (Lower Terrace)

This circuit is a slight variation of the ‘Classic Full Circuit.’ It is a slightly reduced route but still offers the opportunity to take the classic photo of Machu Picchu (from a lower terrace).
After taking the best photos, the route continues in the urban and religious sector of Machu Picchu. There, tourists can explore the main Inca temples and enclosures made of stone: the Temple of the Sun, the Main Temple, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Sacred Rock, the Water Mirrors, the Water Fountains, and the agricultural sector.
This circuit is completed in a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes. It is one of the most recommended and complete circuits in Machu Picchu (therefore, purchasing this ticket online 3 or 4 months in advance is advised).
This ticket does not include any additional hikes to the Machu Picchu mountains.
The circuit is open to visitors of all ages.

Circuit 3 (Royalty Circuit)

Royalty Circuit 3 or Lower Part

As the name indicates, this circuit explores the royal constructions located in the lower part of the Inca city. The circuit includes a beautiful photo of Machu Picchu from the agricultural sector (lower part of the archaeological site).
After taking the best photos, the route continues in the religious sector of Machu Picchu. There, tourists can explore the main temples and Inca enclosures built for royalty, such as: the Temple of the Sun, the Inca’s House, the Three Portals building, the Sacred Rock, the Temple of the Condor, and more.
This circuit is completed in a maximum of 3 hours and 30 minutes. It does not include an additional hike to any mountain. The ticket must be purchased online 1 or 2 months in advance.
The circuit is open to visitors of all ages.

Royalty Circuit 3 or Lower Part + Huayna Picchu

This circuit explores the granite stone constructions made for Inca royalty. These are located in the lower part of Machu Picchu. In the agricultural sector, the ticket allows a photo similar to the classic image taken in the Guardian’s House sector (not included).
In addition to this photo in the agricultural sector, the circuit includes a visit to the lower part of the archaeological site of Machu Picchu with constructions such as: the Temple of the Sun, the Inca’s House, the Three Portals building, the Sacred Rock, the Temple of the Condor, and more.
This Circuit 3 through Machu Picchu takes approximately 1 hour. Additionally, visitors can hike to the summit of Huayna Picchu Mountain, which takes a maximum of 3 hours. Access to this mountain is only permitted for visitors over 18 years old.
The ticket and circuit must be purchased online 3 or 4 months in advance.

Royalty Circuit 3 or Lower Part + Great Cavern

This circuit explores the Inca constructions located in the lower part of Machu Picchu (religious or royalty area). During the route, visitors can see Inca constructions such as the agricultural zone, the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Rock, the Three Portals building, the Temple of the Condor (or Water Mirrors), and the Water Fountains.
In the agricultural sector, tourists can take a very beautiful photograph, similar to the classic postcard photo (in the Guardian’s House sector) but from the lower part of the archaeological site.
This circuit also includes a tour of the Temple of the Moon, also called the Great Cavern. The hiking route to this mysterious building is within the Huayna Picchu Mountain and takes a maximum of 4 hours from entry to exit.
Circuit 3 through Machu Picchu takes an average of 1 hour. Access to the Great Cavern is suitable for visitors over 18 years old. However, the route is only open during the high tourism season (from June 1 to October 15).
The ticket and circuit must be purchased online 1 or 2 months in advance.

Royalty Circuit or Lower Part + Huchuy Picchu

This circuit includes a visit to the constructions in the lower part of Machu Picchu, known as the religious sector, with buildings like the Temple of the Sun, the Inca’s House, the Three Portals building, the Sacred Rock, the Temple of the Condor, and more.
It does not include a visit to the Guardian’s House sector but does include the agricultural sector, where photos very similar to the classic postcard image can be taken (but from the lower part of the archaeological site).
The tour through Circuit 3 of Machu Picchu takes a maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
This Circuit 3 through Machu Picchu takes approximately 1 hour. Additionally, visitors can hike to the summit of Huchuy Picchu Mountain, which takes only 1 hour. Access to this mountain is only permitted for visitors over 18 years old. The summit of the mountain is at 2,497 meters above sea level.
The ticket and circuit must be purchased online 1 or 2 months in advance.
Like the routes to the Inca Bridge, Inti Punku, and Huayna Picchu, this hiking route is only open during the high tourism season (from June 1 to October 15).
